Today at their E3 press conference, Electronic Arts claimed EA Sports Active as the number one rated fitness product on the exergame market, so it should come as no surprise that their presentation included details on the upcoming sequel, EA Sports Active 2. The biggest Active news to come from the conference is that the second game in the franchise is going to be multi-platform. While EA Sports Active was available exclusively for the Wii, fitness-seeking gamers will be able to play the second title on the Wii, PlayStation 3, or Xbox 360 with Kinect, and a heart rate monitor for real-time workout stats. Just waiting to hear about the latest litigation with EA SPORTS Active 2 and their online tracking site as I previously mentioned.
EA Sports Active 2 will include more than 70 exercises and will be available on November 16th, 2010 [Via What They Play]
